Job Summary
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist for a position in the specialty of Computed Tomography (CT) at a healthcare facility. This role involves operating CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images for a high-volume, busy emergency department, with a focus on adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient care. The position requires flexibility regarding shift times and offers a self-scheduling based on seniority.

Job Details

• Position: CT Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT)
• Location: The healthcare provider
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in ARRT CT or ARRT R, BLS certification, valid compact state license, at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
• Experience: 1 year of relevant travel or clinical experience
• Responsibilities: Operate 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion and GE LightSpeed scanners, perform imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and vascular studies, assist with special procedures, and ensure radiation safety and patient care standards are maintained. The candidate must be able to work in a busy department with high patient volumes, including ED patients and stroke care.
• Additional Information: Must be open to all shift times, self-scheduling based on seniority, and available to start ASAP. References covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required, with the ability to potentially float between neighboring facilities if needed.
