Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing evaluation and treatment services for general acute care patients within a facility setting. The position requires focus on activities of daily living (ADL) and upper extremity assessments aimed at improving functional outcomes, with a flexible schedule based on clinical needs.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Education Requirement: Valid state license; license must be in hand at submission.
• Additional Qualifications: Minimum of 1-year experience required, preferably with acute care and community-based patient populations. Experience with electronic charting systems such as Epic is preferred.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, BLS certification, at least 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, ability to work days, and flexible to accommodate a block schedule at discretion of the manager.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with acute care, community-based therapy, and electronic charting in Epic.
• Additional Information: Position involves evaluation and treatment of adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, hip fractures, dementia, and falls. Special emphasis on functional outcomes related to ADL and upper extremity assessments.
