Job Summary
CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist - Night Shift - The organization is seeking a qualified CT Technologist for a temporary assignment. This role involves performing computerized tomography procedures with a focus on patient safety, image quality, and adherence to radiation protection standards. The technologist will operate CT equipment, position patients, and assist physicians as needed within a healthcare facility setting.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Perform computerized tomography scans of designated anatomical areas, ensuring optimal image quality while following safety standards for ionizing radiation. Position patients, operate control consoles, adjust equipment, and maintain calibration. Provide patient care and support during procedures, including explaining processes, reducing anxiety, and ensuring safety. Assist physicians with contrast media administration if trained and authorized.
  • Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) Accredited Radiography Program, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control, certification from an accredited CT program or current registration in CT by the ARRT, 3 years of radiologic technologist experience or 1 year of current CT experience within the last 5 years, current BLS certification.
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, with a start date of 09/28/2026 and an end date of 01/09/2027.
  • Additional Information: Perform quality control and image evaluation, maintain accurate records, participate in ongoing education and departmental policies, and ensure patient confidentiality and safety in compliance with hospital and departmental standards.
