Job Summary
Mammographer Location: Not specified. This position involves performing all mammography examinations independently within the imaging section. The role requires operating imaging equipment such as X-Ray, Mammography, and Bone Density units, ensuring high-quality procedures are conducted safely and efficiently. The position is temporary for a duration of 13 weeks.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Under the administrative direction of the Radiology Manager and clinical direction of the Radiologist or Team Leader, independently performs all exams within the section. Serves as a positive role model and collaborates with departmental personnel.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Competently operates all units of the imaging equipment, including X-Ray, Mammography, and Bone Density, performing procedures in a safe and high-quality manner.
    • Reviews requisitions to determine proper room setup and radiation doses. Studies views required for each examination and performs the procedures accordingly.
    • Evaluates diagnostic films to ensure quality, repeating unsuitable films when necessary.
    • Performs quality control procedures at designated intervals to ensure compliance with Federal and Joint Commission standards of care.
    • Trains employees and students in daily procedures.
    • Collaborates and communicates regularly with other divisions, facilitating patient access to exam scheduling.
    • Demonstrates competency in using Radiology information System, Clinical Information System, Picture Archiving System, and other imaging computer systems.
    • Participates in continuing education as required by the section.
    • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • Required Qualifications: CNE Profile, Professional CNE 2, Professional References, Professional CNE Work Attestation, and 0 years of experience.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Start Date: 09/13/2026
  • End Date: 12/12/2026
