Job Summary:
Cardiac Perfusionist position is available in the healthcare organizations facility, focusing on providing specialized perfusion services for cardiac, thoracic, and liver transplant cases. The role requires operating POC devices and managing a wide range of complex procedures, including lung transplants on ECMO, TAVRs, and HIPEC cases. This position involves a consistent schedule with daytime hours starting at 6:30 a.m., with call responsibilities according to a six-tier system for nights and weekends.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts starting at 6:30 a.m., minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License, American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) Certification, a high school diploma or college degree, and a minimum of 5 years of experience with at least 1 year recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience and ability to operate point-of-care devices
• Additional Information: Must have a Tennessee license on file; must have at least 5 years of experience including recent trauma experience; the candidate should be capable of covering various types of cardiac and thoracic cases, including complex surgeries and organ transplants. The role includes responding to emergent ECMO cases, managing circuit manipulations, and participating in standby standby for vascular cases. The position requires flexibility for call coverage across day and night shifts, including weekends, with no requirement for travel outside the organizations organ recovery efforts.
