Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient Location: unspecified. This position involves providing inpatient rehabilitation therapy within a hospital setting. The role requires a team-oriented professional capable of delivering quality care to patients, with opportunities to work on a dynamic rehabilitation unit.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provide speech language pathology services in an inpatient rehabilitation unit, primarily involving evaluations and treatments related to activities of daily living and swallowing assessments such as Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS).
• Unit Information: Inpatient rehab unit with 32 beds, staffed by approximately 29 therapists and 50 nursing staff across shifts.
• Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification; basic knowledge of inpatient rehab; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; new graduates are welcome, with no prior experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation and MBSS experience (Speech-Language Pathologists).
• Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate initiative and a positive, outgoing personality. Flexibility to work weekends (minimum of 2 per 4-week period) is preferred. A comprehensive understanding of inpatient rehab procedures such as ADLs and evaluations is beneficial.
