Job Summary
The CT Technologist (CT) located in the Bay Area is responsible for performing routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment. The role requires exercising sound clinical judgment, maintaining patient safety, and adhering to all regulatory standards to ensure optimal patient care.
Job Details
- Position Description: CT Technologist Variable shifts including Friday and Saturday nights, with alternating days and potential floating to alternative campuses as needed.
- Certifications Required: ARRT Computed Tomography (CT), Radiology Fluoroscopy, Venipuncture Certification.
- Qualifications: Certifications, ARRT CT, Radiology Fluoroscopy, Venipuncture Certification; valid California State License; at least 1 year of experience.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Performing diagnostic and guidance imaging procedures, operating complex diagnostic equipment, ensuring patient safety through ALARA principles, and documenting procedures accurately.
- Additional Information: May assist in mentoring new staff, explain procedures to patients, maintain proper calibration and safety standards, and ensure compliance with all privacy and safety protocols.
