Job Summary
Xray Technologist Diagnostics Imaging Location: not specified. This position involves performing diagnostic radiology procedures, including inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopic exams, routine X-rays, and specialized procedures such as lumbar punctures and C-arm procedures. The role requires recent experience within the specialty and adherence to departmental and safety protocols.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARray Technologist certification, current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, relevant clinical experience of at least 2 years within the specialty, proficiency in operating both operating room (OR) and fluoroscopy equipment, familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system, and experience with inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopy procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing C-arm procedures, lumbar punctures, routine X-rays, and fluoroscopic exams.
- Responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and adhering to departmental protocols.
- Additional Information: Must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve).
