Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General (ULTRA GEN) - for a healthcare organization in a local setting. This position involves performing routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity to support physicians and healthcare providers in diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients. The role requires independent work, sound clinical judgment, effective communication, and adherence to all safety and privacy regulations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evening shifts of 8 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARDMS certification, BLS certification, and EPIC electronic health records experience. A minimum of 1 year of experience performing sonography procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with first, second, and third trimesters; abdominal, obstetric, pelvic, vascular, and pediatric ultrasound procedures; and familiarity with advanced imaging techniques.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have a valid California State License uploaded within the last 2 weeks, two references obtained within the last year, and meet other compliance requirements including completing labs within 3-5 days of contract signing. All documentation must be submitted 10 days prior to the start date.
