Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General specializing in maternal fetal medicine imaging is sought for an immediate assignment in a hospital setting. This position involves performing detailed OB/GYN ultrasounds, including fetal anatomy scans, follow-up OB scans, bio-physical profiles, Doppler assessments, and first trimester evaluations. The role requires extensive experience with large teaching hospitals and proficiency with electronic medical records systems. The assignment duration is scheduled from October 5, 2026, to January 24, 2027, with work shifts during daytime hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARDMS registered with OB/GYN credential, prior travel experience, minimum of 2 years of relevant ultrasound experience including fetal anatomy scans, follow-up OB, BPP, UMB and MCA dopplers, first trimester, pelvic, sonohystogram, HyCoSy, large teaching hospital experience, recent EPIC EMR experience (within past 2 years).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience scanning GYN and early dating OB scans; efficient in maternal fetal medicine ultrasound; flexibility to work Monday through Sunday with bi-weekly orientations starting 10/19.
- Additional Information:
- The assignment requires complete work history documentation including bed count, facility type, and electronic medical records.
- Travel is not required for this position.
- No block schedules are permitted.
- The facility is a large trauma Level 1 hospital with 579 beds, with two sites on campus.
- No public transportation access is available; reliable personal transportation or rental vehicle is strongly recommended.
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April.
