Job Summary
The CT Technologist position is located in a healthcare setting where specialized imaging procedures are performed. The role involves conducting computed tomography (CT) scans, preparing patients, administering contrast media, and working closely with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging. The position requires proficiency in utilizing GE and Phillips equipment and maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: ARRT (CT) certification, BLS from AHA, High School Diploma or G.E.D., current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and registry-eligible for CT, with a minimum of 2 years of CT experience.
• Schedule: 10-hour night shifts, 40 hours per week, every other weekend.
• Additional Information: Experience with GE and Phillips CT scanners is required. Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of PACS and RIS system operations is necessary. The role involves manual equipment control, sterile procedure assistance, and monitoring patient reactions during contrast injection.
