Job Summary
Polysomnographer - Detroit, MI. This position involves overseeing and performing complex sleep studies, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The role requires collaboration with technicians and ensures compliance with relevant standards to deliver high-quality sleep assessments.

Job Details

  • Location: Detroit, MI
  • Schedule: Nights, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through BRPT, BCLS Certification, High school diploma or G.E.D., Ability to score Sleep Reliability by HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines, 1 year of experience preferred but not required
  • Responsibilities include overseeing sleep study procedures, troubleshooting during data acquisition, scoring sleep recordings based on established guidelines, and generating detailed reports for physician interpretation
  • Preferred Qualifications include experience working with pediatric patients starting at age 5, knowledge of HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines for Sleep Reliability scoring, and strong computer skills
  • Additional Information: Candidate will receive on-the-job training with Epic and may work at multiple sleep lab locations based on organizational needs
