Job Summary
CT Technologist in the imaging specialty is needed at a healthcare provider. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) and X-ray examinations, ensuring high-quality radiographs for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The position requires technical proficiency and independent judgment in a clinical setting.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience: Graduate with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registry, with no minimum years of experience required.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities: Performing CT and X-ray procedures, producing radiographs using appropriate technical factors, evaluating films for proper exposure and positioning, scheduling exams, instructing patients on exam preparations, and setting up and organizing rooms for radiographic procedures.
  • Additional Information: The role requires astute communication skills with employees, physicians, visitors, patients and families, and administration. It also demands the ability to work independently, problem-solve, and adapt to emergency situations while maintaining patient confidentiality. Physical flexibility and manual dexterity are essential. Visual and hearing acuity are required for effective patient interaction and equipment operation.
