Job Summary
CT Technologist Location unspecified. This position involves performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients within a healthcare facility. The role includes preparing patients, analyzing clinical data, operating imaging equipment, administering intravenous contrast media, and assisting radiologists with sterile diagnostic procedures. The position requires adherence to radiation protection principles and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold or be eligible for the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT). BLS certification required.
• Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Skills & Experience: Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities: communication, ownership, understanding, motivation, sensitivity, excellence, teamwork, and respect. Self-directed, flexible, team-oriented, and committed to ongoing learning. Demonstrates customer service values and handles potentially contagious patients and high-voltage equipment safely.
• Preferred Skills & Experience: Well-rounded background in general X-ray, C-arms, flow exams, especially in emergency room and operating room environments.
• Additional Information: The role involves possibly working in hospital or mobile units, exposure to radiation and high-voltage equipment with appropriate precautions, and occasional lifting of equipment or patients over 10 lbs. Tasks include reviewing clinical protocols, resolving image exceptions, completing all documentation, and demonstrating excellent team and patient care standards.
