Description
Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Evansville, IN. This role involves performing multi-modality imaging procedures, including computed tomography (CT) and X-ray, in a high-volume outpatient, emergency department, and urgent care setting. The technician will operate advanced imaging equipment, adhere to clinical protocols, and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts on Fridays, Sundays, and the third shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Registered CT and X-ray certification, Indiana state license, a minimum of 2 years of multi-modality (CT and X-ray) experience, strong assessment and critical thinking skills, and resilience in a dynamic environment. Charting experience with EPIC is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC charting experience.
- Float: May float to designated hospital facilities if needed.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills, be hardworking, resilient, and adaptable to change. The role involves working with GE Ascend CT, GE Definium Tempo Pro X-ray units, and Konica mobile X-ray units.
