Description

Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist position in an acute care setting located in Nebraska. The role involves performing quality diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under supervision to ensure accurate and appropriate imaging for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist will participate in teaching and research activities supporting the organizational mission. The position requires working both in the department and mobile settings, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.

Job Details:

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (variable start times based on preferences and staffing)
Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: 09/28/2026
End Date: 12/28/2026
Required Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited nuclear medicine program, current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or The American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), knowledge of computers interfaced with gamma cameras, knowledge of radioactive materials, doses and flood sources, experience with patient monitoring and safety equipment, ability to work safely with radioactive materials, willingness to work in both department and mobile settings, at least 1 year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior clinical experience, strong patient handling skills across age groups, excellent communication skills, knowledge of nuclear medicine gamma cameras from various manufacturers.
Additional Information:
This need applies to both in-department and mobile work, with no licensing required but certification by a recognized national organization is mandatory. The position does not involve call or overtime, and the client has specific orientation and scheduling policies.
