Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position in a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital located in Central Texas. This role involves providing customized occupational therapy services to patients recovering from strokes, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The occupational therapist will focus on maximizing patient recovery, independence, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
Job Details
- Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, Days shift
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Occupational Therapist License, BLS certification, 0 years of experience required, location in Central Texas, Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT)
- Preferred Qualifications: 1 year experience in inpatient rehabilitation
- Additional Information:
Provides therapy to a geriatric patient population with predominantly 1:1 treatment, some group therapy sessions. Responsible for holding a caseload of 5-6 patients per day, utilizing therapy equipment, durable medical equipment, and electronic health records such as UDS Prodoc and Pinpoints. Must possess basic computer skills and effective communication in English. Reporting time is flexible between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with the first report at 8:00 AM. Scrubs can be any color. Parking is available in the side lot.
