Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is based at a Level I Trauma Center. This role involves performing computerized tomography (CT) procedures on patients, including general diagnostic radiology examinations. The technologist operates advanced imaging equipment, administers contrast media, and collaborates with radiologists to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/21/2026 to 01/02/2027.
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; ARRT (CT) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; valid registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible; minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role includes explaining procedures to patients, preparing equipment and supplies, administering contrast media, assisting with sterile diagnostic procedures, and ensuring adherence to radiation protection principles. The technologist must demonstrate excellent customer service, teamwork, initiative, and flexibility, and maintain ongoing medical education requirements. The environment may involve exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and potentially contagious patients. Physical demands include occasional lifting or moving equipment or patients exceeding 10 pounds.
