Description
Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position is located in an adult-focused healthcare setting. This role involves providing respiratory care to patients with respiratory and cardiac conditions, including ortho, and requires flexibility to float to ICU, emergency department, medical-surgical floors, telemetry, and psychiatric units. The position involves a 12-hour day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., every other weekend with call and holiday responsibilities, starting on 10/16/2026 and ending on 01/14/2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., every other weekend rotation, with call and holiday requirement, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or equivalent certifying body, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Electronic Health Record (EHR) system experience, and travel experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification highly desired.
- Additional Information: Must have 1-2 years of relevant experience. Floating may be required within a 30-mile radius to ICU, emergency department, medical-surgical, telemetry, psychiatric units, or neonatal intensive care units if applicable. All time off must be requested at the time of submission. IVS to reviewmanager will interview and extend offers.
- Submission Requirements: Active RRT certification, BLS certification, and evidence of travel experience are mandatory upon submission.
