Job Summary:
MRI Technologist MRI unspecified location. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations according to established department protocols, ensuring proper patient identification and preparation. The technologist will demonstrate proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy, operate MRI equipment, select appropriate scan techniques, and manage image quality. The position requires adherence to safety policies, including MRI magnet safety and emergency procedures, while documenting all procedures accurately and maintaining compliance with departmental standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings shift, 3:00pm-11:30pm, 40 hours per week, from 10/05/2026 to 01/02/2027
• Required Qualifications: One year of MRI experience, ARRT (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) registration, ARRT (Radiographer) registration or ARMRIT certification, current BLS certification, Utah State Licensure (if applicable), and the ability to meet departmental IV certification competency within three months of hire.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 Trauma Center experience, 6-12 months of acute care experience, and additional certifications such as moderate sedation and controlled substance modules, to be completed within specified post-hire periods.
• Additional Information: The role involves operating MRI equipment, troubleshooting, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation. Candidates must possess manual dexterity, listening skills, and be able to stand and lift as required.
