A CT Technologist position is available in a healthcare facility. This 13-week locum assignment involves performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures. The role requires ensuring patient safety and comfort while assisting radiologists or physicians with exams and maintaining accurate documentation.

Job Details:

• Position: CT Technologist
• Location: Not specified
• Schedule: Rotating shifts; Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, totaling at least 40 hours per week
• Certifications: Radiographer credential from North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certifications in Radiologic Technology and Computed Tomography, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience: 13 years of experience required; no minimum experience specified for the role
• Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring written physician orders are received prior to performing exams
  • Reviewing imaging on Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for quality and completeness
  • Providing patient and family education to optimize understanding
  • Assisting radiologists or physicians during patient exams and notifying them of any patient condition changes
  • Preparing and administering pharmaceutical vials and dosages accurately
  • Maintaining detailed records of all procedures and materials
  • Performing miscellaneous duties as needed to meet departmental requirements
