Job Summary
The CT Technologist position is located in an area approximately 100 miles away from the candidate's current residence. This clinical role involves operating Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment to produce high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and minimizing radiation exposure. The position requires the ability to assist physicians during procedures, prepare rooms, and manage exam scheduling. The shift includes day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with varying hours.
Job Details
- Schedule: Friday, 9:00 AM 9:30 PM (Central Time), Saturday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, Sunday, 9:00 AM 9:30 PM; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Two or more years of experience with trauma and stroke imaging; Associate's Degree or equivalent from an approved Radiologic Technology program; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Association of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiologic Technologist (RT) (R) credential with CT certification; current State or District license to practice radiologic technology.
- Additional Information: The role involves operating computed tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment, assisting physicians during procedures including room preparation and contrast reactions, and scheduling exams with correct charge entry. Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
