Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in an acute-care facility located in the Willamette Valley area. The role involves independently performing computed tomography (CT) and X-ray examinations on a diverse patient population during night shifts. The position offers a dynamic and supportive team environment, with a manageable workload that includes a variety of inpatient and emergency department cases.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: CT and X-Ray licenses, OBMI State License, BLS certification, 2+ years of experience, hospital-wide orientation training (provided)
• Preferred Qualifications: Surgery C-Arm and fluoroscopy experience is a plus
• Unit Information:
  • Number of Beds: 60
  • Patient Volumes (Nights): Typically 5-6 CTs and 8-10 X-rays, dependent on ER census
  • Equipment: GE VCT Main CT Scanner, Discovery RT backup scanner, GE Difinium portable units, all digital X-ray rooms, similar interfaces for ease of transition
  • Electronic Health Record: Meditech and Change Healthcare (McKesson PACS)
• Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT and X-ray exams independently
  • Support inpatient and emergency department exams, including traumas and strokes
  • Supportive team environment with role-specific support for OR cases and abnormal volumes
• Additional Information:
  • The role supports all patient populations with minimal pediatric work
  • Tasks include order preparation and supporting the clinical team during shifts
  • Supportive team culture with on-call backup support if workload increases
