Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located within a healthcare setting focused on advanced imaging services. This role involves performing quality computed tomography (CT) examinations across various procedures, demonstrating competence in multiple imaging protocols, and maintaining patient safety and comfort. The position requires adaptability to different locations within the department under a consistent management structure.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT(CT)(R) certification, State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License, Level I trauma experience, and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE imaging equipment.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other locations within the CT department, but will still be under the same management.
• Additional Information:
  • Perform all department procedures including neuro, body, musculoskeletal, CT angiography, and interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, ablations, and drain removals.
  • Conduct advanced imaging techniques such as 3D reformats, colonography, enterography, and urograms.
  • Utilize GE equipment, including 8 CT scanners with varying slice capabilities, and operate EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) and Mckesson picture archiving and communication system (PACS).
  • Engage in quality assurance (QA) responsibilities and maintain departmental stock levels in compliance with standards.
  • Participate in department-specific training during a 6-week orientation, including cross-location education and mid-point assessments.
  • Adhere to dress code with red scrubs or red t-shirts featuring the Nebraska Medicine emblem.
  • Be prepared to work during scheduled holidays, and participate in on-call duties as required.
  • Submit license documentation and be willing to wait for license approval.
