Job Summary
EEG Technologist Registered in the outpatient setting. This position involves performing routine and ambulatory electroencephalogram (EEG) studies, including on-call rotation, with a focus on accurate electrode application, data acquisition, and ensuring patient safety. The role emphasizes communication, organizational ability, and proficiency with neurodiagnostic procedures, working independently during evening shifts.

Job Details

• Shift: Evenings, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no weekends, call, evenings, or holidays required.
• Required Qualifications: Current registration as an EEG Technologist or equivalent certification, minimum associate degree in Applied Science or related science, BLS certification, EEG registry required, 1 year of experience, and ability to perform electrode application and neurodiagnostic testing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient experience, ambulatory skills, experience with Cadwell equipment, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include maintaining EEG recordings, troubleshooting equipment, monitoring data quality, performing seizure response testing, mentoring students, and acting as a liaison between nurses and physicians.
