Description
Job Summary:
This is a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position located at a high-volume acute care hospital. The role involves supporting various interventional procedures within a STEMI and Stroke receiving center, including cardiac, neuro, and radiology interventions. The technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical support for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a dedicated cath lab setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of acute care experience in a Cath Lab, valid state license (compact license accepted), certifications including BLS, ACLS, ARRT (or RCIS), fluoroscopy permit
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac, neuro, or interventional radiology procedures is a plus but not required; previous experience supporting procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and thrombectomy
- Float: Float between specialties in the lab may be required
- Additional Information: Start date is 10/12/2026 with a planned end date of 01/11/2027. Candidate must be available to work weekdays with on-call responsibilities during evenings and weekends, supporting a busy STEMI and stroke center. The role involves coverage for urgent interventions, including TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, and other interventional procedures.
