Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist in a busy hospital setting. This role involves functioning as an Interventional Radiology (IR) technologist, assisting interventional radiologists, vascular and neurosurgeons with various procedures. The position requires working independently during a rotating schedule with call responsibilities, supporting two IR suites, and adhering to department-specific training protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift with 10-hour days (08:00 - 18:30), four days per week, with on-call up to 2 days per week and rotating weekends.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, minimum of 3 years of experience, valid Maryland license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens IR Artis suite, GE Angio 4400, EPIC Radiant, and Change Healthcare PACS systems.
• Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA).
• Operational Details: Support to four IR rooms; orientation includes one week of one-on-one training; work independently after training; the department maintains two IR suites in the main department and one in the operating room.
• Additional Information: Local candidates not accepted due to 50-mile radius restriction; call policy allows cancellation up to 12 hours prior; orientation is non-billable; no BSN required; no trauma level designation.
