Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in a hospital setting located in Spokane Valley, WA. This role involves providing respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients, including those requiring critical care, ventilator management, and other respiratory support. The position requires flexibility across departments with an emphasis on teamwork and positive attitude.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, every other weekend, with a cycle released 6 weeks at a time. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State license, RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications. Two years of experience in respiratory therapy preferred. Basic respiratory therapist skills, critical care experience, and familiarity with ventilators, BiPAPs, HFNC, and other respiratory equipment are necessary. Experience with nursery or neonatal care is helpful but not required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric respiratory therapy and nursery settings.
• Additional Information: The facility is a 123-bed hospital with a Level 3 Trauma Center. The hospital uses EPIC electronic medical records and Getinge Servo-u ventilators. RTs support all departments on a rotating basis and may float within the facility as needed. Orientation includes a one-day hospital overview and 2-3 precepted shifts, depending on the technicians comfort level.
