Job Summary:
Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT PEDS) in a healthcare facility. This position involves assisting patients from birth to young adulthood in reaching their maximum physical performance and adjusting to disabilities. The role includes evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, administering manual therapy, and collaborating with patients and families to achieve desired health outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program; for licensure prior to 2016, a bachelor's or master's degree is acceptable; for licensure from 2016 onward, a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required
• Patient Care: Yes responsibilities include evaluating effects of treatment, adjusting interventions, performing assessments, establishing care plans, providing education, documenting goals and progress, and participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Additional Information: Supervises physical therapist assistants according to organization policy and state regulations; works within a birth to young adult, 1:1 treatment model
