Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) role in a skilled nursing facility setting located in Texas. This position involves supporting clinical interventions through evidence-based practice, delivering rehabilitative and medically necessary treatments to patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The OTA will collaborate with the healthcare team to monitor patient progress, document treatment activities, and contribute to patient discharge planning.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid State Licensure/Registration, at least 1 year of Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) experience, LTC or rehab experience, COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) license.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: The OTA will administer therapeutic procedures including activities of daily living retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive device use. Responsibilities also include assessing patient progress, documenting treatment, communicating with the supervising Occupational Therapist, and supporting supervision of students. Participation in meetings, trainings, and adherence to professional practice acts and ethical standards is expected. The position is scheduled to commence on 10/19/2026 and conclude on 01/18/2027.
