Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings, located in Oklahoma. This role involves screening and evaluating patients with cognitive and activities of daily living (ADL) physical functioning disorders, developing appropriate care plans, and implementing evidence-based rehabilitative interventions. The position requires providing skilled treatments, assessments, and patient counseling to support functional recovery and discharge planning.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license, minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation settings, and at least 1 year of occupational therapy experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in skilled nursing facilities.
• Additional Information: Effectively screens/evaluates patients and develops care plans following regulatory and clinical standards. Administers procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices. Assesses patient progress, modifies services based on outcomes, and documents all treatments and evaluations per regulatory and clinical requirements. Participates in team meetings, training, and maintains accurate documentation. Supervises occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as applicable. Ensures compliance with NBCOT and state practice acts, ethics, and code of conduct.
