Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist position in a healthcare organization on days shift. The role involves performing radiologic procedures, monitoring patient conditions during imaging tests, and ensuring accurate documentation. Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
  • Licenses: Radiologic Technologist license and Technician license.
  • Registration: Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible.
  • Membership: Active member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Desirable: Membership in national, state, or local societies.
• Additional Information:
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Essential functions include monitoring patient condition, preparing preliminary paperwork, performing exercise, pharmaceutical, and echo stress tests, recognizing chest pain and arrhythmias, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, and assisting with medical record charting and process improvement.
  • Minimum education: Graduate of an approved radiologic technology course.
  • Minimum work experience: Hospital training during two years of approved Radiologic Technologist program.
