Job Summary
The CT Technologist position is located in a healthcare setting that offers opportunities to perform computerized tomography procedures including invasive techniques. Operating a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner under the supervision of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist, this role involves positioning patients, operating specialized imaging equipment, and ensuring accurate labeling of films. The position emphasizes delivering safe, high-quality patient care and requires taking call as part of the responsibilities.

Job Details

• Shift Schedule: Evenings, Monday to Friday, 1500-2330, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology school, current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist, ability to move 40 pounds six feet, reach overhead while holding 25 pounds, lift 40 pounds from wheelchair to bed level, pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed, and push a 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet. Must possess computer skills and demonstrate good judgment and decision-making in radiology techniques.
• Preferred Qualifications: Possession of two years of diagnostic experience.
• Additional Information: The position requires moderate to heavy physical effort, the application of proper body mechanics to transport patients and equipment, and good stamina with flexibility and manual dexterity. Clinical responsibilities include ensuring accuracy in film marking and labeling, and providing quality customer service and patient care in accordance with hospital policies. The position starts in October 2026 and ends in January 2027 and involves a quick start.
