Job Summary
MRI Technologist First Coast, FL. This position involves independently performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocols. The role emphasizes safety, patient care, and accurate documentation to facilitate high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) approved school of Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS program with MR registry. MR registry must be obtained within 18 months of the primary registry date or hire date if already acquired. CNMT, ARDMS, and ARMRIT graduates must attain MR registry within 12 months of hire. Minimum of 2 years of experience. Valid ARRT Certificate, ARMRIT certification, NMTC, or ARDMS registry, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Pennsylvania Act 31, 33, 34, and 73 certifications.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The technologist will perform procedures involving reviewing patient history, applying departmental protocols, administering contrast, and maintaining safety standards. The role requires effective communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail for documentation, coding, and archiving of exams. All duties are performed in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
