Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (Specialty: PT IP) in the inpatient setting, responsible for providing therapy services to patients on a day shift basis. This role involves performing evaluations, treatments, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities. The position supports a highly cohesive and engaged department focused on delivering quality patient care.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• End Date: 12/21/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida license, BLS certification, 0 years of experience required, ability to perform evaluations, treatments, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities
• Unit Information:
  • Unit: Inpatient Physical Therapy Department
  • Number of Beds: 281
  • Staff: 11 full-time Physical Therapists, 2 Physical Therapist Assistants, 2 PRN (as needed) office coordinators
  • Schedule: All staff work the day shift with patient ratios of 8-10 patients per 8-hour shift, assigned 10-13 patients
  • Equipment: Walkers, crutches, braces, wheelchairs
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Call Requirements: Call by 7:00am
• Additional Information:
  • The department is highly cohesive and engaged, with a positive atmosphere and hardworking team.
  • Previous travel experience and the ability to quickly adapt and learn Meditech are preferred.
  • Dress code: Gray scrubs.
