Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist in a clinical setting specializing in radiation treatment plans and patient immobilization devices. This role involves administering radiation therapy according to physician instructions, maintaining detailed patient and treatment records, and performing routine and complex procedures such as total body irradiation and stereotactic radiosurgery. The position offers a dynamic environment requiring adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift; clinic is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. shifts will vary within clinic hours
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technologist program; Radiation Therapy certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Additional Information: Experience with Elekta systems preferred. The role involves preparing equipment and treatment rooms, using protective procedures to ensure safety, and providing clinical instruction and evaluation for student radiation therapists.
