Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer position located in an emergency department setting. The role involves performing ultrasound examinations primarily focused on vascular studies, OB-GYN, abdomen, and testicular assessments. The candidate will support the department independently with minimal supervision, working in a fast-paced environment with adult and pediatric patients.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, with hours typically from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, working a schedule cycle that may depend on requisition, with weekend rotation and on-call requirements.
• Required Qualifications: ARDMS-OB and ABD certifications, general scanning skills, minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, valid license or national certification, ability to work solo, and experience with vascular DVT and arterial studies.
• Preferred Qualifications: RVT credential preferred, experience with BPP, size and dates, 1st to 3rd trimester OB-GYN studies, and familiarity with preparing patients for ultrasound procedures.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes 2-5 days of facility and unit training, with possible orientation during days if scheduled for night shifts. Support is available from off-site radiologists and onsite ER providers. The department is equipped with Philips Epic electronic medical records and GE Logiq P9 ultrasound equipment. The environment is mainly for adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases.
