Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience and ARDMS-OB/ABD certification for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

• 226-bed profit community hospital with Level III trauma designation
• Inpatient and outpatient adult population with occasional pediatric cases
• Case types include OBGYN, general, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound
• Average caseload of 10-13 cases per shift
• Shift schedule is 12-hour nights, Friday through Sunday, 1900-0700
• Uses Epic EMR
• May float to Union Gap OCED (10 minutes away) or OP Imaging Center (5 minutes away)
• Weekend rotation dependent on shift/schedule
• On-call required to cover Union Gap, including 1 weeknight per week (2230 to following morning) and 1 weekend per month (Friday night through Monday morning), with 30-minute response time
• No weekend call required if working weekend nights, only 1 weeknight call per week in that case

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ARDMS-OB and ABD certification required; RVT preferred
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience required
• First-time travelers considered only with 5+ years of experience
• General scanning skills required
• Vascular skills including DVT and arterial studies
• OBGYN skills including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scans, size and dates, and BPP
• General abdominal, pelvic, and testicular scanning skills
• Neonatal brain scan experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working independently
