Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in a hospital setting located in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This position involves providing specialized occupational therapy services to adult patients recovering from neurological injuries, stroke, trauma, or orthopedic conditions. The role emphasizes collaborative patient care and aims to maximize patient independence and functional recovery throughout the treatment process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensed therapist credential from an accredited university and program, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation. Valid license to practice occupational therapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro or neurological rehabilitation, stroke, and related conditions. Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills.
• Additional Information: The inpatient rehab unit has approximately 60 beds, with patient ratios typically 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1. Equipment such as Hoyer lift, lite gait, and vector devices are used. Work involves treating neuro and adult patient populations, with common diagnoses including stroke and neurological disorders. The first report time is 9 am, and scrub attire should be blue or black. Parking is available in a free covered garage.
