Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer Echo (Echocardiographer) position is located in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. This role involves performing adult transthoracic echocardiograms and in-depth preliminary reports, supporting inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. The technician will work a daytime schedule with on-call coverage as needed, primarily during morning shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certifications as an Ultrasonographer Echo (Echocardiography Technician), relevant educational background, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiography.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to start intravenous (IV) lines or willingness to learn, experience with exercise and pharmacological stress tests, and competence in comprehensive preliminary report writing.
- Additional Information: Role includes performing adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) in inpatient and outpatient settings, conducting exercise and pharmacologic stress testing, and producing detailed preliminary reports. Flexibility to support on-call coverage may be required.
