Job Summary
A Radiology Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is sought in the Yukon Kuskokwim region. This position involves performing imaging examinations on patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics, supporting the efficient operations of the department while ensuring high-quality patient care. The role includes responsibilities of receptionist duties and other department tasks as needed, utilizing specific training in CT imaging modalities.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program with dedicated CT training preferred; current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)(CT) or equivalent required; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; two years post-graduation experience preferred; ability to perform CT angiography studies including PE chest, CTA head, CTA neck, and CTA abdomen with lower extremity run off preferred; experience with radiography and computed tomography equipment required, Siemens and Fuji experience preferred.

  • Private housing is not provided; all housing is shared units with no pets allowed.
  • Airfare will be paid initially by the candidate and/or agency, and reimbursed upon arrival.
  • Candidate must submit all credentials and documentation, including immunizations, proof of vaccinations, professional licenses, background checks, drug screening, and references, prior to travel.
  • Orientation occurs every Tuesday and Wednesday; no transportation will be provided for returning travelers.
  • Candidate must provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccinations.
