Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) for a healthcare organization located in the surrounding areas. This position involves providing inpatient physical therapy services, with responsibilities including supervising therapy assistants and collaborating with a therapy supervisor onsite. The role supports multiple settings such as skilled nursing facilities and home health, with schedules varying based on patient needs and clinical requirements.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shifts, varying hours, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: State licensure as a Physical Therapist, BLS certification (AHA or ARC), minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, and authorization to submit for licensure in the state of practice
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in inpatient settings preferred, familiarity with SNF Net Health and Home Health HCHB software
• Additional Information: Supervising two Physical Therapist Assistants, assisting with coverage in multiple facilities including Auburn and Syracuse, and supporting home health patients. The position involves working approximately 80% in skilled nursing facilities and the rest in home health. The role may require flexibility to cover various settings, including assisting with PTO coverage and census fluctuations. The clinician may be scheduled for eight- or twelve-hour shifts, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week for twelve-hour shifts or 40 hours for shorter shifts. No on-call or callback duties are available.
