Job Summary
The MRI Technologist position is located in a healthcare facility environment. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on adult and geriatric patients, utilizing advanced MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images. The position requires a qualified professional to operate specialized imaging technology, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate imaging records.

Job Details

• Qualifications: Valid California Certification for Radiologic Technologist, ARRT in Radiology, with ARRT in MRI preferred, BLS required, and California IV certification preferred prior to start.
• Responsibilities: Conduct MRI scans including neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, breast exams, and body imaging, including post-processing and contrast media administration.
• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima MRI units, ability to perform neuro, MSK, abdomen, breast, and MRCPs procedures, and familiarity with protocols for adult and geriatric patients.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 1 year of MRI technologist experience, possess a valid state license (compact license accepted), and be willing to work weekend coverage and holiday shifts. They may be required to float between facilities nearby the contracted site.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should include responses to whether they have previously worked at a relevant healthcare facility, with details of location and dates, as well as provide two references covering the last three years.
