Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position based in the area involves operating computed tomography (CT) imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images of patients across various age groups. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety and procedural standards to support patient care and diagnosis.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, Friday through Sunday, from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and active Oregon State license or proof of license application and fingerprinting. Candidates should have 1 year of experience in CT procedures, including use of Siemens or similar imaging equipment, and experience with imaging modalities such as abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, and vascular studies.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system, community hospital or Level I/II trauma center experience, and familiarity with Multi-planar reconstruction (MRP) and 3D rendering techniques.
• Additional Information: The role involves covering primarily emergency department and inpatient exams with no scheduled outpatient procedures during those hours. Mandatory compliance documentation must be completed prior to start, including modules, skills testing, and competencies. A professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or manager is required within the last year. The candidate must have a valid Oregon State license or be in the process of obtaining one, and must not have any felony convictions. RNs are required to complete an Epic Test-Out Module unless they pass the test-out, in which case an additional 8-hour Epic training course will be assigned if necessary. Travel is within the local system, candidates residing within 50 miles of a facility are not eligible.
