Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist based in Des Moines. This role involves providing specialized imaging and procedural support within the cardiac catheterization lab, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during complex interventional procedures. The position requires flexibility to float across campuses and adherence to strict clinical standards.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current experience in Cath Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab, active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, valid drivers license, willingness to float across campuses, scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring experience, proficiency in monitoring procedures, and specific skills checklist aligned with the discipline
- Preferred Qualifications: 24 months of travel experience within the last 18 months, structural heart experience, interventional radiology experience, EP (Electrophysiology) experience, peripheral vascular experience, trauma Level I and Level II experience
- Orientation Dates: 09/21, 09/28, 10/05, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/02, 11/09, 11/16 (sooner starts prioritized)
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed. The role includes call responsibilities with a 1.5x multiplier and a 2-hour minimum callback. Call schedule includes 1 night per week and every 3rd weekend, from 7:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday.
