Job Summary:
CT Technologist position located in Puyallup, WA, within a Level III Trauma Center. This role involves providing advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging services during night shifts, with a schedule typically including 12-hour night shifts from Friday to Sunday, along with occasional call shifts. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a broad range of patient types, including emergency, critical, and interventional cases.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, Friday to Sunday, 1900-0730, with 36 hours minimum per week. Some positions may include every weekend rotation.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) licensed in CT, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Washington state license, and experience with Siemens, Dual Source CT 128 Flash, Definition 64 (interventional CT), and Definition Edge 128 equipment. Candidate must have acute care experience and comfort working with high patient volumes, including ER and ICU patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac CT experience is preferred.
• Support on the Unit: Lead CT Technologist, Respiratory Therapy, Hospitalist, Radiologist (interventional radiologist during day shifts and off-site at night), Radiologist Assistant (RRT), Transporter (except from 4am-9am).
• Technology/Equipment: EPIC electronic medical record (EMR), Pyxis medication dispensing system, MedRad injectors, PACS (Change Healthcare).
• Additional Information: Orientation includes at least 1 week in the department, with potential for extension if needed. Strict night shift and weekend rotation required; flexibility for on-call shifts (1-2 per month). Support staff includes Radiologist and Radiology Assistant teams, with available CT transporters. Scrub attire should be professional and logo-free. There is free parking available at the facility.
