Job Summary
CT Technologist Waimea, HI. This position involves providing computed tomography (CT) imaging services at a 35-bed acute care hospital on the Big Island. The role includes inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient CT procedures, supporting the medical staff with advanced imaging techniques in a Level III Trauma Center setting.
Job Details
- Location: Waimea, Hawaii
- Education/Licensure/Certification: Current Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist, certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.), current Basic Life Support/Healthcare Provider certification.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of full-time staff experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility prior to any travel assignments; experience with C-arm is highly desirable. Additionally, at least one (1) year of full-time staff experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care environment prior to any travel assignments; experience with Siemens equipment highly desirable.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date. Pending submission of all compliance documentation including a current Nursys report. If the required credentials are not submitted at least 10 days before the start date, the assignment may be postponed or canceled. Candidates must be willing to fill roles such as nursing assistant or safety sitter if their clinical role on the unit is not required.
