Job Summary
Northern California CT Technologist. This position involves operating computerized tomography (CT) and x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images, supporting departmental objectives, and creating a conducive environment for efficient medical imaging services. The role requires performing in at least two modalities regularly, such as radiography and computed tomography, within a critical access hospital setting.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for operating x-ray and computed tomography (CT) equipment, assisting in achieving departmental goals, and supporting a quality patient care environment.
• Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology; Radiologic Technologist (RT) in the state of practice; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification; CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per organizational policy; certification in two additional advanced modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography (M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Sonography (S).
• Schedule: Day shift, Friday through Sunday, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs various radiographic and computed tomography procedures, transports and transfers patients safely, tests defibrillators, checks crash cart integrity, performs mobile imaging, and prepares contrast agents. Commitment to organizational safety policies, including vaccination requirements, is required.
