Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered, Peds Night Shift, located in Michigan. This position involves delivering life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gases therapy to patients. The role includes performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures, maintaining clinical expertise, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team and patients. Supervisory responsibilities include delegating tasks to Respiratory Therapists, externs, and students, as well as documenting patient care accurately.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program; Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care; current license as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan; BLS certification; two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Required Skills: RESPIRATORY THERAPIST, LIFE-SUPPORT, RESUSCITATION, MONITORING, MEDICAL GASES THERAPY.
• Additional Skills: PATIENT BILLING INFORMATION, NON-INVASIVE DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES, PATIENT CARE DOCUMENTATION, INVASIVE DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES.
• Additional Information: The candidate will perform diagnostic procedures for patients in intensive care and general practice units, supervise, direct, and delegate tasks to other respiratory therapists, and ensure precise documentation of all patient care activities.
