Job Summary
CT Technologist in a healthcare facility located in the designated region. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing computed tomography (CT) scanners, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. The position requires a focus on compassionate care, technical proficiency, and efficient workflow to support the organizations diagnostic services.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, with guaranteed hours.
• Required Qualifications: Completion of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiologic Technology and completion of an accredited CT program, or a bachelors degree in Radiology with two semesters of clinical rotation in CT. Certification in computed tomography (CT), ARRT certification in Radiography, BLS certification, and ability to demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to radiologic exams.
• Preferred Qualifications: Preferential experience of one year in radiologic technology, though not mandatory.
• Additional Information: Performs complex specialized tasks involving CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment, adhering to radiation safety procedures. Responsible for patient positioning, conducting exams accurately, assisting radiologists with imaging procedures, including intravenous access and contrast administration, and evaluating scan quality. Maintains detailed records, coordinates scheduling, and provides training to new technologists. Demonstrates proficiency in IV placement, image processing, and protocol development. Physical ability to lift up to fifty pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform fine motor skills is required.
